Active clearance is not required to start. Job Description We are seeking an Operations Quality Engineer (QE) to support the Optical Components Manufacturing Center based in Orlando, FL. The position requires quality engineering experience with an emphasis on electrical, optical, and mechanical component assembly and integration testing.

What You Will Be Doing:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop and review quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures for the inspection and testing of manufactured and procured products. Design and analyze inspection and test processes, mechanisms, and equipment. Evaluate product test results and perform statistical analysis to assess risks associated with products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Review documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer. Lead and/or participate in Failure Review Boards and other technical investigations. Participate as an active member of Material Review Boards (MRB). Develop and implement new inspection processes and automation methods. Ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented to improve processes. Perform special process assessments and audits to ensure compliance with technical specifications and

industry standards. Interface with customers and program personnel on quality-related issues. Make the final determination regarding the acceptability of products. Required Experience Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related discipline with 2 or more years of professional experience; 0 years of experience with a Master's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years of GD&T experience. Minimum 2 years of SAP experience. Minimum 2 years of APRISO experience. Minimum 2 years of Root Cause Analysis experience, including methods such as Cause Mapping, 5-Why, Fishbone, or similar techniques. Minimum 2 years of presentation experience. Minimum 2 years of experience conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102. Desired Skills Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with AS9102 interpretation and application. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional First Article Inspection (FAI) experience.
