Metrology Engineer - Southeast Region ( DE, GA, KY, MD, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV ) Are you naturally curious and love solving mechanical puzzles? What You'll Do As a Metrology Engineer, you'll be the technical hero our customers rely on to keep their machinery running at peak performance.
You'll:
Use precision laser metrology instruments to gather alignment and dimensional data Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend solutions Perform or supervise corrective maintenance Create detailed Technical Service Reports with 3D models Collaborate with sales and account managers to scope and quote projects Train others in metrology tools and alignment techniques What You Bring Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field Strong foundation in math (algebra, geometry, trigonometry) Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Clear, professional writing skills for technical reporting Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, AutoCAD Experience with tools like SolidWorks, CATIA, BuildIT, Spatial Analyzer, CAM2, or Polyworks is a plus!
