Bring your measurement science expertise to an on-site leadership opportunity in Hamilton, WA, where dimensional integrity drives real-world outcomes across aerospace, space, defense, marine, and architecture. In this Chief Engineer - Dimensional Engineering opportunity, you will serve as the enterprise technical authority for dimensional engineering, precision metrology, and advanced measurement strategy. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Chief Engineer- Dimensional Engineering position include: 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in dimensional engineering, precision metrology, or advanced manufacturing Expert proficiency with Spatial Analyzer required; experience with CMM programming, laser trackers, photogrammetry, structured light scanning, or related measurement technologies Demonstrated expertise in GD&T (ASME Y14.5), tolerance stack-ups, dimensional analysis, and coordinate system development Strong ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, GD&T schemes, CAD models, PMI, and model-based definitions Lead resolution of complex dimensional issues affecting design, manufacturing, tooling, assembly, and inspection Develop advanced measurement strategies and measurement plans for complex assemblies and large-scale structures Perform tolerance analysis, dimensional stack-up evaluation, and root cause investigations Provide enterprise-wide technical leadership: develop standards, mentor engineers, and champion continuous improvement through data-driven problem solving
Salary:
$160,000 - $215,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
