Full Job Description Summary:
In this role, you will collaborate with a team of scientists and engineers to predict and improve system-level performance of novel products and prototypes. Using internally developed simulation tools—including an existing display emulation codebase in MATLAB—you will analyze results to directly enhance product and prototype performance while improving the codebase's maintainability, efficiency, and capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Code refactoring in IQToolbox. Use simulation tools to model end-to-end performance of display systems. Report analysis of these simulations to establish specifications for these display systems and ensure a successful product Collaborate with the larger research team to explore concepts and drive system performance to create compelling experiences.
Must Have Skills:
Deep proficiency in MATLAB. Strong software development skills. Experience with source control.
Nice To Have Skill:
Signal/Image processing Mathematical modeling and simulation Color science Knowledge of display technologies (µLED, OLED, LCD, LCOS, DMD) or display pipeline architecture Familiarity with display metrology/calibration, image quality metrics, or human perception
Education/Experience:
Have at least 5 years experience in software development. BS in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Computer Science, Color Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work/education experience.
