Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Circuit Design and Power System Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex electrical and system design projects, develop cutting-edge power solutions, and drive technological advancements across various industries. As a key contributor, you will leverage your expertise in circuit design and electrical systems to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions that meet industry standards and client needs. Your energetic approach and problem-solving mindset will be instrumental in advancing our projects from conception through implementation. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of advanced electrical circuits, including PCB layouts, schematics, and system integration using CAD software such as Cadence, SPICE, MATLAB, or Altium Designer. Develop and verify system models utilizing simulation tools like MATLAB, Simulink, SystemVerilog, and C++, ensuring optimal performance of power systems and control architectures. Conduct root cause analysis for electrical system failures or performance issues, implementing effective troubleshooting techniques with oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Manage project schedules by coordinating tasks across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring timely delivery of engineering milestones while adhering to electrical building codes (NEC) and NFPA 70 compliance standards. Oversee manufacturing processes related to electronics design and PCB fabrication, including soldering, assembly inspections, and quality assurance testing. Support engineering troubleshooting efforts by analyzing signal processing data, debugging control systems, and refining electrical schematic designs for reliability. Ensure all electrical engineering practices align with safety standards including NFPA 70 regulations while promoting continuous improvement in system development workflows.

Experience Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on electrical systems design and power electronics. Extensive background in circuit design, PCB layout, electronics testing, and system development verification using simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or SystemVerilog. Strong knowledge of control systems engineering principles including programming in C++, Python, or scripting languages for automation purposes. Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes involving soldering techniques, electronics assembly inspection, and quality assurance testing methods. Familiarity with electrical safety standards (NFPA 70) and building codes (NEC) applicable to industrial environments. Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes or ohmmeters; excellent debugging skills are essential. Knowledge of vision inspection systems, signal processing techniques, and communication protocols used in industrial automation settings is highly desirable.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 8 Year of experience in PCB Design Strong knowledge of analog, digital, mixed-signal, or RF circuit design. Experience with circuit simulation and PCB design tools. Understanding of electronic components, microcontrollers, power electronics, and signal processing. Knowledge of testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Pay:
$80.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
