Job Description Responsibilities:

Perform detailed reviews of substation engineering drawings and design packages. Conduct field investigations and site assessments at substations. Document findings and provide engineering support for project teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and field alignment. The Successful Applicant Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience in Protection & Control or Substation Physical Design. Ability to review engineering drawings and identify design discrepancies. Strong communication and documentation skills.

Travel Requirements:

Project work consists of approximately 4-6 weeks of office-based drawing reviews, followed by 1 week of field investigations at substation sites, repeated throughout the program. Travel is required across utility service territories from Northern California to the Los Angeles region. What's on Offer Hourly pay ranging from $90 to $110 USD, depending on experience. Medical, dental, and vision benefits offered. Temporary contract for 2+ months with the potential for project-based extensions. Immediate project start with work expected to continue through year-end. Candidates located within the project territory are preferred, though qualified candidates outside the area will be considered if travel is feasible.
