In this Senior Engineer, Electrical Automation Systems opportunity, you'll help translate complex electrical and automation systems into reliable, safe, and supportable solutions for real-world production. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Engineer, Electrical Automation Systems position include: 10+ years of electrical and industrial automation engineering, including 5+ years supporting live manufacturing systems and 5+ years working with system integrators Lead medium-to-large electrical and automation projects, including startup, commissioning, modernization, and lifecycle support Own automation and electrical system design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management while reporting to the Principal Automation & Controls Engineer Build strong IT/OT integration across PLCs, SCADA, historians, databases, managed networks, virtual environments, and industrial protocols Apply deep hands-on Rockwell Automation expertise (ControlLogix/CompactLogix) and strong PLC programming skills (structured text, ladder logic, SFC, modular design) Support FactoryTalk View SE SCADA and historian experience (e.g., Historian
SE, OSI PI
) Ensure compliance with GMP manufacturing requirements and electrical codes/standards (NFPA, NEC, ISA), including familiarity with P&IDs and instrumentation Mentor junior engineers and coordinate system integrators, panel builders, and installers to ensure documentation, standards, and smooth transitions into operations
Salary:
$141,000 - $155,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
