Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Own end‑to‑end systems engineering for advanced infrastructure projects, including cryogenic distribution systems, industrial gas systems, and precision facility control systems (e.g., data centers, cleanrooms, high‑stability labs). Lead system‑level architecture, requirements definition, trade studies, and requirements flow‑down for cryogenic delivery, facility utilities, and environmental or controls infrastructure. Serve as a technical authority for the integration of complex subsystems such as cryogenic equipment, fluid‑handling systems, vacuum‑jacketed lines, compressors, pumps, valves, PLC‑based controls, SCADA/BMS interfaces, and electrical power systems. Lead and participate in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of equipment and control systems in operational environments—including cryogenic systems, building automation systems (BAS), and precision environmental controls. Drive cross‑functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, controls, facility operations, safety, external vendors, and project teams to resolve interface challenges and deliver reliable integrated systems. Support R D, scale‑up, and continuous‑improvement initiatives by transitioning experimental or prototype concepts into robust, field‑deployable systems. Maintain comprehensive documentation, including process workflows, P&IDs, control logic, interface specifications, safety procedures, and operations/maintenance guidance.YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree minimum 6+ years of experience delivering complex facility or infrastructure systems, preferably involving cryogenics, fluids, or industrial gases. 4+ years' experience with design software - ASPEN, EcoSim, AutoCAD, Solidworks, Onshape or similar Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status. Master's Degree or PHD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience with systems integration, commissioning, and field execution Strong understanding of cryogenic safety practices, hazard analysis, and operational risk mitigation. Experience as an engineering project lead on an infrastructure upgrade or a new pilot-scale project In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards related to cryogenic systems. Familiarity with systems engineering methodologies (requirements of management, interface control, verification & validation). Experience working with vendors, contractors, and external partners on delivered systems. Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and drive issues to closure in fast-moving project environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear guidance for operations, leadership, and non-technical stakeholders. \n $128,000 - $161,000 a yearCompensation & Benefits:
