Develop novel designs of gate drivers for WBG modules. Conduct collaborative research with CAPS Faculty and other researchers at FSU and other universities. Develop an independent research program engaging post-doctoral researchers and graduate students in the power electronics area. Develop compelling proposals for competitive external grants and contracts from federal agencies and industry sponsors. Publish research results in reputed journals and internal conferences. Qualifications An academic doctorate or the highest-level degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in power electronics, or a related field from an accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in research. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of experience in power electronics or a related field. Strong publication record in power electronics or related fields. Rich experience with high voltage and high power hardware development. Demonstrated record of collaboration, publications, and conference presentations.
