Job Description
Technical support professional responsible for remote and onsite troubleshooting, software support, customer upgrades, and issue resolution for automated material handling and robotic systems. Job Requirements 6 months to 2+ years of relevant experience in automation, controls, software support, or industrial systems Experience with PLC programming and automation systems such as Allen-Bradley and similar platforms Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft Transact
SQL, .NET
Framework, Visual Basic, Java, OpenEdge ABL/Progress, or related programming environments Strong TCP/IP networking skills Understanding of industrial system integration with servo motors, electrical systems, and software platforms Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, IT diagrams, and layouts Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation Ability to travel as needed, including occasional international travel Valid passport required Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field French language skills Experience with customer training and support documentation Experience supporting upgrade projects and after-sales software development Job Responsibilities Provide remote and onsite support for software, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting of automated systems Analyze, debug, commission, and support automation software systems based on customer requirements Perform root cause analysis for software issues, production issues, and recurring system problems Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to identify and support equipment issues Develop, test, and deploy after-sales software features Assist with current and upcoming projects Manage support tickets and maintain knowledge base documentation for customer issues and resolutions Support smaller customer upgrade projects, including scheduling, communication, and deployment coordination Provide onsite and remote customer training on purchased software systems Identify and communicate service opportunities to management Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and internal process standards Participate in escalation management and 24/7 support coveragePay Details:
