Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, where clinical expertise, focus, and compassion are essential for supporting surgical teams and ensuring optimal outcomes. This contract opportunity is designed for dedicated professionals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a proven record in perioperative nursing.
Schedule:
Full-time hours with rotating shifts Call coverage may be required based on surgical caseloads
Key Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operating room environment Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association In-depth understanding of aseptic technique and perioperative protocols Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide safe, patient-centered care before, during, and after surgical procedures Collaborate efficiently with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other health professionals Prepare operating rooms and maintain the sterile environment throughout all procedures Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes or emergencies Document all aspects of care accurately and in a timely manner Support infection control policies and maintain compliance with hospital standards
