Job Description
This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits. Job Description The SCADA Team within the Department of Water Resources is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SCADA Intern for Summer 2026 . The selected candidate will support the SCADA Engineering team while gaining hands-on experience with SCADA system operations, testing, and troubleshooting. The intern will also develop a foundational understanding of machine control systems and related technologies. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a current engineering student to apply classroom knowledge to real-world operational challenges while building technical, analytical, and professional skills in a collaborative work environment Essential Duties Assist SCADA Engineer with lab testing, programming, and troubleshooting Learn the basic Operational Technology system, networks, and basic PLC and OIT programming Hourly rate $20.36 per hour Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D.
