Transmission & Distribution Engineer Intern - Grid (Summer 2027)

Essential skills and experience:
  • Active enrollment in a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with a strong academic background.
  • Candidates pursuing other engineering degrees may also be considered if they have relevant coursework in civil, geotechnical, strength of materials, statics, or electrical power.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines. Valued but not required skills and experience:
  • Active enrollment in a BS or MS ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community.
  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
  • Prior, related internship or co-op experience in our business area.
