3001585284-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Engineer - Engineering & Design, Energy (Electric, Gas, Oil) Constellation Energy seeks an Engineer to design and optimize electric, gas, and renewable energy systems for utility and commercial customers. In this Engineering & Design role, you will develop drawings, models, and specifications, perform technical analyses, and support projects from concept through commissioning. You'll collaborate across disciplines to integrate innovative, sustainable solutions that reduce carbon footprints and improve reliability. Responsibilities Design and optimize electric, gas, and renewable energy systems for utility and commercial customers Develop engineering drawings, models, and technical specifications in alignment with industry codes and standards Perform load flow, reliability, and performance analyses to support project feasibility and design decisions Support project lifecycle from concept through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate new technologies and sustainable solutions into existing infrastructure Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and proposals for internal stakeholders and external clients Use data analytics and digital tools to improve asset performance and energy efficiency Provide engineering support during construction, testing, and startup activities Identify and mitigate technical risks while promoting continuous improvement and innovation Contribute to environmental and decarbonization initiatives aligned with company sustainability goals Required Skills Power systems engineering Energy systems modeling Auto CAD or similar CAD tools Electrical system design and analysis Natural gas and pipeline fundamentals Renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, storage) Project engineering and coordination Data analysis and performance modeling Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, ASME or equivalent standards Technical report writing and documentation
