$100,000- $150,000 The System Safety Engineer is a key role within the engineering team, focused on the safe and efficient development of our products for US Military This role requires an experienced engineer with a background in the execution of System Safety on military vehicles and other programs.
Responsibilities:
Execute System Safety Engineering activities in accordance withMIL-STD-882E
throughout the product lifecycle Develop, maintain, and execute System Safety Program Plans (SSPPs) for military vehicle and defense programs Identify system safety risks and collaborate with design engineers to implement effective hazard mitigation strategies Perform comprehensive hazard analyses, including: Subsystem Hazard Analysis (SSHA)- Task 204 System Hazard Analysis (SHA)
- Task 205 Health Hazard Analysis (HHA)
- Task 207 Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA)
- Task 208 Environmental Hazard Analysis (EHA)
- Task 210 Prepare Safety Assessment Reports (SARs) in accordance with
