Job Title:
Structural CAE Engineer - High Voltage Battery Overview /Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Structural CAE Engineer to support high-voltage battery structural design and analysis using CAE tools. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to ensure battery systems operate within specified functional conditions and contributing to advanced battery technology development through simulation and analysis.Key Responsibilities:
Build 3D battery internal structural analysis CAE models from CAD designs Debug complex finite element (FE) models independently Perform 3D structural simulations on high-voltage battery systems at system, subsystem, and component levels Conduct non-linear FEA using tools such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, or OptiStruct, including pre- and post-processing Evaluate structural analysis results and provide technical feedback and design recommendations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain simulation inputs and boundary conditions Work with testing teams to define instrumentation, process test data, and correlate CAE models Coordinate with global teams for meshing and geometry cleanup activities Prepare structured reports summarizing analysis, findings, and recommendationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering 4+ years of experience working with structural components and designs in an engineering environment Strong expertise in CAE tools such as ABAQUS, HyperMesh, nCode/fe-safe, and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) What Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your Future HTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
