Our internship program provides students with meaningful project exposure, professional mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute to active client projects. Whether your focus is Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Surveying, Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline, you'll have the opportunity to learn how your skills contribute to the design, construction, and maintenance of critical infrastructure. At Toth, interns are more than observers. You'll be part of the team, collaborating with experienced engineers, designers, planners, and project managers while gaining valuable industry experience. What You May Work On Depending on your area of study, experience level, and project needs, you may have opportunities to support a variety of projects, including: Civil Engineering Site development and grading plans Stormwater management and drainage design Erosion control plans and permitting support Electrical Engineering Substation design and upgrades Transmission and distribution line design Power system modeling and studies Transmission and Distribution Pole loading and line design support Route evaluations and field investigations Structure design coordination Engineering analysis and drafting assistance Surveying and Engineering Technology Field data collection and mapping Utility and infrastructure documentation GIS data management and analysis Survey support and project coordination What You'll Gain Experience working on real client projects from planning through construction. A better understanding of potential engineering career paths. What We're Looking For Current enrollment in an accredited engineering, engineering technology, surveying, or related degree program. Strong academic performance is preferred. A GPA of 3.5 or above is a plus but not required. Relevant internships, project work, leadership experience, and work experience will also be taken into consideration. Interest in infrastructure, utilities, high voltage, consulting engineering, renewables, water management, or construction-related industries. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
