BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in support to our development efforts in our Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker program. The successful candidate will have combination of direct experience developing both hardware and software Test Solutions in Electro-Optical/Infrared domain. The candidate must also understand lab environment testing concepts and integration of systems, sub-assemblies, and components. The applicant should have a strong background in 'C' code software development for PC based test and measurement applications and recent experience. Familiarity with Electrical Engineering hardware interfacing and electromechanical Test Systems is beneficial for this position. Our engineers are members of cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams focused on developing cost-effective systems that meet the needs of our customers. Candidates should be comfortable working with teams of all sizes and enjoy a mix of creative design work, mentoring the next generation of protégés, developing White Papers, presenting internally and externally, and leading test events. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Must be a US Citizen who has or can obtain a Secret Security Clearance Experience with high performance data acquisition and control applications Experience with various communication protocols such as Ethernet TCP/IP, Telnet, RS-485, HotLink, IEEE-488, USB, etc. Background in Electrical Engineering and experience interfacing with Commercial Instrumentation such as Oscilloscopes, Multi-Meters, Network Analyzers, Lasers etc. Experience in one or more software languages:
