Weekend and Holiday Rotation Hours:
7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am.
Rotating Summary:
Operates, inspects, and maintains all boiler, heating, steam, hot water, ventilating, water treatment equipment, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, pneumatic tube system, systems of the hospital and its complex.
Responsibilities:
Education High School diploma or GED Must possess 1st class stationary engineer license In lieu of a 1st class stationary engineer license, must possess a 2nd class stationary engineer license with the expectation of obtaining the 1st class stationary engineer license within 12 months from the date of hire. Valid NYS drivers License Experience Two (2) years power house Knowledge, Skills and Ability Must posses a working knowledge of heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schedule forms or blueprints. Ability to use all types of hand and power tools.
