Key Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in embedded systems, both hardware and firmware Proven background in microcontroller/microprocessor-based system development Ability to learn Assembly language and use AI tools to modernize legacy code Hands-on experience with Microchip software development Skilled in PCB design, schematic creation, and layout using Altium PCB Designer Solid understanding of mechanical hardware used in elevator systems Proficiency in MS Office applications Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Physically capable of lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods

Main Duties Include:

Designing electrical controllers in accordance with safety standards and codes Maintaining and upgrading existing hardware and software systems Developing microcontroller-based circuit boards and systems Implementing product enhancements to reduce costs and improve functionality Identifying and selecting high-quality, compliant electrical components Producing detailed CAD drawings for electrical systems and PCB layouts Creating test fixtures and assembly instructions for production Developing and updating Bills of Material for new products Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations Providing technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders Preparing technical reports, documentation, and project presentations
