Federal Government Construction Sales - Low/Medium Voltage Switchgear This position will be remote/hybrid in the South East market. Role Description Job responsibilities will include but not limited to the development, management, and support of general and electrical contractors within the sales area pursuing federal and defense projects Active involvement in special interest groups (business development), with a federal and defense focus, to build and develop relationships that benefit Siemens and targeted contractors. Active participation in the development and implementation of business strategies, forecasting, and maintaining opportunity pipeline for all federal/defense projects within sales area. Product support to include but not limited to; Panelboards, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, Motor Control Centers, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, IEC/NEMA Control, Safety Switches, and Residential Products. Use of comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Government procurement processes, Federal compliance, security clearance, and strong military acumen to develop solutions and prepare proposals for Federal customers. Continuous engagement throughout the project life cycle to ensure successful implementation of government and contractor objectives. Commitment to staying current on the latest industry technology and Federal trends and market drivers. You will win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is strongly desired, although a combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement) and directly related work experience will also be considered. 5+ years of the federal contract and procurement process or 10+ years of the federal contract and procurement process 5+ years of sales experience or 10+ years of sales experience 5+ years of LV/MV power distribution product line or 10+ years of LV/MV power distribution product Ability to travel 10% of the time.
