In this role, you will serve as the technical backbone of our operations, taking charge of advanced programming, system commissioning, and high-level troubleshooting for high-end residential and commercial integration projects. If you have experience with Control4 , robust enterprise-grade networking infrastructure, and integrated audio/video systems—and take pride in delivering flawless client experiences—we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities System Programming & Commissioning:
Program, configure, and deploy comprehensive Control4 automation systems, lighting control, motorized shading, and multi-room audio/video distribution.
Networking & Infrastructure:
Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade networking environments (VLANs, secure Wi-Fi, routing, switches, and rack management).
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Diagnose and resolve complex software, hardware, and network issues both on-site and remotely.
System Design & Engineering:
Review architectural and low-voltage blueprints, schematics, and scopes of work to ensure accurate project execution.
Leadership & Mentorship:
Guide field technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship, clean cable management, and adherence to company best practices.
Client Handover:
Provide clear, professional system demonstrations and training to homeowners and commercial clients upon project completion.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum 1-3+ years of hands-on experience in the low voltage, smart home integration, or AV industry.
Certifications:
Control4 Programmer Certification is preferred (Advanced or equivalent tier preferred; additional certifications like CEDIA, Dante, or networking credentials are a strong plus).
Technical Expertise:
Deep proficiency in Control4 Composer Pro and system design. Strong networking knowledge (configuring routers, managed switches, access points, and VPNs). Extensive experience with distributed audio/video platforms (e.g., AV-over-IP, HDMI matrix switchers, Sonos). Ability to read and interpret low-voltage schematics, wiring diagrams, and floor plans.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong client-facing communication skills, and a meticulous eye for detail.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
