Job Description

Sr SCADA Engineer (Renewable Energy) We're seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to design and implement automation and integration solutions for renewable energy plants. In this role, you'll lead SCADA and PPC system development, mentor junior engineers, and work directly with clients to deliver high-quality, reliable systems. Key Responsibilities Design, program, test, and commission RTUs, PACs, and HMIs Develop network/communications architectures and integration solutions Lead projects, manage schedules, and ensure QA/QC standards Mentor team members and support their technical growth Collaborate with clients and provide regular project updates Travel up to 25% as needed Qualifications Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field 10+ years SCADA experience (renewables preferred) Experience in client-facing/consulting environments Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, networking, and protocols (DNP3, Modbus, OPC UA ) Excellent leadership and communication skills Nice to Have Experience with SEL-RTAC, Novatech OrionLX+, Ignition Networking expertise (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.) Familiarity with Wireshark, PuTTY Why Join Us Work on impactful renewable energy projects Flexible remote or hybrid (MN-based) options Collaborative, fast-growing, mission-driven team 👉 Help build the future of clean energy—apply today. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeville, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $64.00 - $76.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
