Develop and analyze relay protection schemes and ensure compliance with NERC, IEEE, and utility standards. Provide technical guidance on grid interconnection studies for renewable energy projects, substations, and transmission systems. Interface with internal and external team members including Electrical Engineers, Electrical Designers, Drafters, Discipline leads, Project Managers, and take ownership of the project to meet and exceed client expectations. Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing study results and recommendations. Prepare and review equipment specifications and procurement documents. Review manufacturer equipment drawings. Support the development of engineering standards and best practices related to power system analysis. Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing power system performance issues. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in power systems and renewable energy integration. No hire/fire authority.
