Responsibilities:
- Lead systems engineering activities from requirements development and architecture design through integration, verification, validation, and product launch.
- Develop and manage system requirements, functional architecture, interface specifications, and design traceability.
- Define battery system architecture and lead technical development efforts involving BMS, power electronics, supervisory controls, and system integration.
- Conduct technical trade studies, design reviews, safety analyses, risk assessments, and fault management activities.
- Develop verification and validation strategies while coordinating laboratory, HIL, prototype, and product testing.
- Contribute to electrical architecture, interface design, component selection, schematic reviews, and prototype implementation.
- Collaborate across electrical, software, mechanical, and controls engineering teams while supporting technical proposals, project planning, and product roadmaps.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for future product development and business growth. Schedule is 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | On-Site. Pay is $120,000

- 7+ years of Systems Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering experience supporting complex product development programs.
- Strong background in requirements management, system architecture, integration, verification, validation, and technical leadership.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, power electronics, controls, sensors, embedded systems, and interface design.
- Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS), battery storage systems, power conversion, or related technologies preferred.
- Knowledge of functional safety, risk analysis, and system protection strategies.
- Experience with Simulink, Model-Based Design, Visio, IBM DOORS, Codebeamer, or similar engineering tools is preferred. Aerospace, defense, aviation, military, or other mission-critical systems experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience supporting products through development, integration, testing, and validation phases.
- Technical proposal and specification writing experience is a plus.
