The role focuses on PLC and HMI development (primarily Rockwell/FactoryTalk), integration with plant networks and SCADA, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues on production equipment. The ideal candidate will blend electrical, mechanical and control-system expertise to deliver reliable, efficient automation solutions in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, program and maintain PLC control logic using Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms for manufacturing equipment. Design, configure and optimize HMI screens and applications using FactoryTalk and related visualization tools. Commission and troubleshoot automated systems on-site, including PLCs, HMIs, drives, motion controllers, robots and associated sensors and actuators. Integrate control systems with plant networks and supervisory systems using Ethernet/IP, Modbus and other industrial protocols. Work with mechanical and electrical teams to design and review control panels, I/O wiring, and ladder/structured text documentation. Implement and test motion control sequences, servo/drive configurations and robotic interfaces to meet production requirements. Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues; apply continuous-improvement principles to increase uptime and performance.
