In this role, you will drive the design and development of mechanical products, utilizing advanced CAD software and engineering principles to create detailed models, schematics, and drawings. Your expertise will help transform concepts into tangible, manufacturable solutions that meet rigorous quality standards and project timelines. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge product development projects within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Develop detailed 3D models, mechanical drawings, and schematics using SolidWorks and Creo to support product design and manufacturing processes. Perform tolerance analysis and mechanical detail drawings to ensure precision and compliance with industry standards such as ASME codes. Conduct root cause analysis on design issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. Manage project schedules by coordinating design milestones, ensuring timely delivery of engineering products. Utilize engineering tools like FEA (Finite Element Analysis), CAD software, and building information modeling (BIM) tools to optimize mechanical designs. Support manufacturing by creating schematics, mechanical drawings, and machine design specifications aligned with industry standards. Engage in mechanical product development projects by applying mechanical knowledge, practicing in industrial or manufacturing engineering roles, and adhering to project management best practices. Skills Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks, Creo, and other 3D CAD modeling tools for product design. Strong mechanical drafting skills with experience in creating mechanical detail drawings and schematics. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), ASME standards, and tolerance analysis techniques. Experience with mechanical engineering concepts such as machine design, structural analysis, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with engineering simulation tools like FEA, MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, Arduino programming, and Quantum engineering principles. Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting within mechanical systems or designs. Effective cross-functional communication skills for collaboration across design engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
