Our client, a leading high-performance engineering company, is seeking an FEA Simulation Engineer to join their growing Simulation Team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and using simulation tools to drive design and development decisions for cutting-edge automotive projects. Position Summary As an FEA Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing, executing, and analyzing finite element simulations that support engineering and product development initiatives. You will collaborate closely with design, testing, and engineering teams to validate concepts, optimize performance, and provide data-driven recommendations. Key Responsibilities Set up, run, and monitor finite element analysis (FEA) simulations using internal systems and processes. Interpret simulation results and prepare clear reports and recommendations for engineering teams. Develop and maintain scripts, macros, and automation tools to improve simulation efficiency and workflow. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to support design and development activities. Assist with correlation and validation of simulation models using test and instrumentation data. Create and deliver detailed technical presentations for engineering reviews and project discussions. Support continuous improvement efforts within simulation and analysis processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 2-4 years of experience in simulation, FEA, or product development engineering. Strong understanding of statics, dynamics, and material behavior. Experience with analytical problem solving and engineering fundamentals. Preferred Skills Working knowledge of Dassault Abaqus and CATIA . Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, Java , or similar languages. Knowledge of internal combustion, hybrid, and electric powertrain systems . Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies and optimization techniques. Understanding of control systems and their application to automotive powertrain systems. Experience correlating simulation results with physical testing data.
