Engineering Technician Join Our Team as an Engineering Technician in our R D Department at Pure Fishing. Are you passionate about innovation and the great outdoors? At Pure Fishing, we're committed to developing the world's finest fishing gear—and we're seeking a Engineering Technician to support our Research & Development team. What will you do? Provides hands-on technical support to Design Engineers and Project Engineers in the development and improvement of products. Performs prototype assembly, molding, product measurements, testing, sample preparation, and other assigned engineering activities.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Design Engineers and Project Engineers with product development activities. Perform assigned technical and development tasks to support engineering projects. Assemble HB/TT prototypes for laboratory and field evaluation. Mold soft bait prototypes for laboratory and field evaluation. Perform product measurements, basic testing, and verification. Prepare and submit product samples to the Product Test Center for formal testing. Assist with prototype builds, product evaluations, and documentation of results. Basic understanding of CAD models, drawings, and other design documentation. Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established project schedules. May require domestic travel. What Makes You a Great Catch? Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude. Ability to work with prototypes, tools, molds, samples, and test equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately perform and document measurements and testing. Ability to follow engineering procedures, test requirements, and project instructions. Ability to work effectively with Design Engineers and Project Engineers. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assigned tasks. CAD experience preferred but not required. Willingness and ability to learn CAD and other engineering tools as needed. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Required Education and Experience Required qualifications include a technical diploma, certificate, AS/AAS, or equivalent hands-on technical experience, along with 0-3 years of engineering, product development, manufacturing, testing, or related technical experience.
