We are looking for highly motivated powertrain calibration engineers to deliver fuel economy, emissions, OBD, and drivability attributes on many different internal combustion and hybrid powertrain programs. What you'll do... Calibration and development of leading edge aftertreatment technologies for PM, NOx, HC, and CO reduction for gasoline powertrains to meet global emissions and OBD requirements Evaluate and assess vehicle attributes (performance, fuel economy, emissions, diagnostics, NVH) on vehicles and engine dynamometer test cells Modify powertrain control calibrations to improve fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics Design and conduct tests to validate engine and vehicle fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics Conduct vehicle testing and development at remote locations in Arizona, Colorado, and Northern Canada The minimum requirements we seek: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 2+ years of experience in Powertrain Calibration 1+ years' experience with one more of the following software tools: ETAS, ATI, or MATLAB Our preferred qualifications: Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in Powertrain Calibration Strong understanding and experience with Accurate Technologies, Inc.
