Main Responsibilities, Requirements, and Competencies Understand internal and external customer design requirements.

• Create design.
• Communicate design.

• Utilize PRP to guide Launch Process.

Bachelor's Level Degree Area of Study:

mechanical engineering, or equivalent degree in a technical field (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, materials science, industrial & operations, etc.)

• Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge): 1 -3 Minimum Years of relevant experience in automotive interiors. Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces. Preferred Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge):

• Experience leading programs with full engineering responsibility.
• Experience in injection molded products preferred
• Experience in cut, saw and wrap designs
•  Experience in mechanisms preferred - buttons, door openers, glove box, levers
•  Siemens TeamCenter PLM experience
•  CATIA and NX experience
• Good PC-Skills (Word, Excel, MS Project).
