Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
End to End Product Ownership, meeting all turbocharger functional requirements (Performance, Reliability, Quality, Costs & Timing) to meet engine specifications Customer Interface - Single Point of Contact to Customer for Launch Matching, Design, Simulation, Validation (DVP&R), Turbo Release (TRA) Accountable for Internal & External APQP (advanced product planning quality) on full Bill Of Material - Sign off turbo, component PPAP deviations (APQP output) Accountable for 2D & 3D creation and quality according to documented Design Standards & guidelines Ensure proper application & use of standard Design processes & tools, as defined by functional matrix Support Design quality issue investigations (8D's) and lead implementation of corrective actionsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field 3+ years of experience with developing and/or launching products in the automotive or similar industry Proven track record with product validation and launch experience as well as product development and component design in automotive industry- Experience with direct customer interface
