Responsibilities:

Develop 3D models, assemblies, surfaces, and 2D technical drawings using

CATIA V5

Work from customer requirements, specifications, and initial concepts to develop production-ready designs Create detailed drawings, specifications, and part lists Support product development from concept through testing, validation, and production Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve design issues Participate in design reviews and cross-functional project meetings Make design modifications based on testing, manufacturing feedback, or customer requirements Support prototype and sample builds as needed Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding design requirements and project updates Occasionally travel to customer or manufacturing locations as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in product, mechanical, or automotive design Technical degree, CAD certification, or equivalent relevant experience Strong experience with

CATIA V5

Experience with 3D modeling, surfacing, assemblies, and 2D drafting UG NX experience is a plus Experience with Teamcenter or another PLM system Experience working with engineered components or assemblies within an automotive, transportation, or similar manufacturing environment Understanding of product testing, validation, and manufacturing processes Strong mechanical problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; PLEX experience is a plus
