Job Description

Product Engineer If you are a detail-oriented engineering professional with experience in rubber, plastics, or material conversion, then consider this Product Engineer opportunity. You'll join the team at a growing manufacturer in Amherst, NH. Responsibilities of the Product Engineer Work on multiple projects as assigned to support product realization, customer support, failure analysis, corrective action, cost reduction, etc. Participate in tooling meetings, monitor and help develop production processes, and coordinate implementation of systems to ensure customer requirements are met Provide hands-on Manufacturing Engineering support on the production floor Work with various internal departments to meet company goals and objectives Provide timely follow through on daily activities and project deadlines Organize and execute special projects as assigned Qualifications of the Product Engineer Well-rounded engineering background with experience in both product design and general manufacturing Experience in rubber, plastics, or material conversion industry is required College degree in a technical/engineering discipline and several years of experience preferred; 10+ years of increasing responsibility in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will be considered in lieu of a degree Professional communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities Familiar with ISO/AS9100 and similar quality standards CAD experience; SolidEdge a plus We look forward to connecting with you about this direct-hire Product Engineer position!
