Build Products That Protect Millions of Retail Devices At Scorpion Security Products, we don't just improve existing products—we invent new ones. We're looking for an engineer who loves solving mechanical problems, building prototypes, and seeing ideas become products used by leading retailers around the world. If you're energized by creating innovative hardware, working with modern prototyping tools, and owning projects from concept through production, this is the role for you. What You'll Do Own the complete product development process from first sketch to production launch. Invent mechanical security products and adaptable product platforms. Design in SolidWorks while applying sound engineering, DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, and material selection. Rapidly prototype and test ideas using in-house FDM and SLA 3D printing. Work directly with customers, sales, suppliers, and manufacturing to transform requirements into manufacturable products. Create renderings, samples, drawings, BOMs, and production documentation. Experience taking mechanical products from concept to production. Hands-on prototyping mindset. Excellent communication and project ownership. Preferred PDM, GD&T, FEA, Keyshot. Injection molding, CNC machining, sheet metal, engineering plastics. Consumer, industrial, or security hardware development, electronics integration Success in This Role Within your first year, you'll support launching new products, establish yourself as a trusted technical resource, created scalable product platforms, and helped shape the future direction of Scorpion's product portfolio.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
