Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Product Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing our products. They will work closely with various departments to ensure the product meets the company's standards and customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform all engineering and technical assignments related to the product line.
  • Provide product support to Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Accounting.
  • Develop and maintain all engineered manufacturing drawings and related supporting documentation for the entire product line, including BOM's.
  • Continuous improvement of product development.
  • Support the Quote Engineer with generating quotes and purchasing requisitions for material and special-order components Will lead all new product launches.
  • Interaction with Customer via email, phone, and site visits.
  • Stay current with all federal code requirements.
  • Provide input to production scheduling to maintain project schedules.
  • Identify potential and existing problems and provide a solution.
  • Closely work with shop personnel to ensure accuracy and quality of product.
  • Closely work with cross functional teams such as Process Engineering, Quality, Production, and Accounting for execution of plans, process improvements and cost savings.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred.
  • Fuel tank experience required.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks.
  • CAD/CNC programming experience preferred, specifically
SIGMANEST.
  • Experience in metal fabrication preferred.
  • Experience with PPAP's a plus.
  • Must be a strong leader and detail oriented.
  • Capable of working in a team environment.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
