Job Description

The role You own the creation, accuracy, and upkeep of product data across the systems a manufacturing business runs on. You are the subject matter expert for engineering documentation, item master management, and ERP product data, and you make sure product information and processes are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time. The role sits at the center of engineering operations and keeps communication moving across every department. What you will do Run the new part setup process: create and maintain bills of materials, develop manufacturing and quality specifications, establish control plans and process flow documentation, coordinate lab testing, and support other product launch activities. Analyze product data requirements and independently manage the creation, revision, and maintenance of ERP records, routings, and product structures, keeping product information accurate, consistent, and complete across all systems. Evaluate engineering change requests involving material, design, or process changes that need customer approval, assess the operational impact, and coordinate implementation across functions. Prepare quotations for new business by identifying materials and manufacturing processes, running cost analysis, and evaluating production feasibility. Support manufacturing with root cause analysis and corrective action for customer complaints, and own all product design related actions. Verify compliance with customer drawings, engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Lead cross-functional design reviews and customer discussions to evaluate requirements, resolve technical issues, and deliver a successful product. Take on other tasks that support business needs. What you bring Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail. The ability to interpret and understand technical requirements. Experience with ERP systems. Sound judgment and discretion in resolving product data and documentation issues. Strong proficiency with standard office software. Nice to have Competence with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (for example AutoCAD or SolidWorks). Education and experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field. Three or more years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, product data management, or a related role. Prior role requiring regular customer interaction.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
