Job Description

Job Summary Our client, a leading transportation provider, is seeking a Product Engineer with experience in C#/.NET development, API and system integrations, and full stack development to join their team! This position is a 4-month contract role, located in Fort Worth, Texas, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week. Core Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and document scalable software solutions and technical work products Develop APIs and system integrations connecting internal, vendor, and third-party platforms Design integrated systems that support reliable data exchange across multiple product domains and teams Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot complex integration issues, and drive solutions through resolution Identify and address technical debt, scalability, latency, resiliency, and performance risks Partner with product, business, security, and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable technical solutions Support technical craftsmanship across the team and identify opportunities for reuse and continuous improvement Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale software solutions in production environments Proficiency with API and system integration development across internal and third-party systems Hands-on development experience with C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core, including Web API or MVC Experience with full stack development, including JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular or React Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and supporting integrated systems Experience working with databases and data mapping or transformation Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines Experience with Kafka, REST, or GraphQL integrations Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or similar Experience delivering system interfaces across multiple teams and working with vendor or third-party systems Key Competencies & Behaviors Strong technical problem-solving and root cause analysis Cross-functional collaboration and technical coordination Clear verbal and written communication across technical and business audiences Ability to balance scalability, reliability, performance, and simplicity Proactive approach to technical risk and continuous improvement
Work Environment Location:
Fort Worth, TX Hybrid, onsite 3 days per week and remote 2 days per week
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $34.00 and $49.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
