We are TÜV SÜD. At TÜV SÜD, the Senior RF/Wireless Engineer supports wireless certification, regulatory compliance, cellular RF, and carrier acceptance testing for connected products. In this role, you will provide technical expertise across complex wireless programs while partnering with customers, laboratory teams, project management, and commercial teams to support successful certification outcomes. Your Tasks Perform wireless certification, regulatory compliance, and carrier acceptance testing in accordance with
PTCRB, GCF, FCC, ISED, 3GPP, ETSI
, and applicable carrier requirements. Conduct cellular RF conformance and performance testing across GSM, WCDMA, LTE, LTE-Advanced, 5G NR, and emerging wireless technologies. Perform Radiated Spurious Emissions (RSE), transmitter, receiver, and other RF performance measurements. Develop and review test plans, procedures, configurations, technical reports, and certification documentation. Analyze test results, troubleshoot RF and certification failures, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Configure and operate cellular communication testers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, and related laboratory equipment. Provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians and support laboratory quality, process improvement, and new test capability development. Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a closely related field with at least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience , or a master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience . Experience with PTCRB certification, cellular RF testing, FCC and ISED requirements, and Radiated Spurious Emissions (RSE) . Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, wireless technologies, transmitter and receiver performance, and measurement techniques. Experience with test platforms such as Keysight UXM/E7515, Rohde & Schwarz CMW500/CMX500, Anritsu
MT8000A/ME7873
, or equivalent systems. Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, technical writing, and customer communication skills. Experience in an
ISO/IEC 17025

Additional Information The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $90,000-$140,000 . Actual base pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity. This position is also eligible for a 10% annual bonus target , subject to eligibility and applicable plan requirements.
