This role is with Global Comms Exchange LLC, dba VolitionRF , a veteran-founded, veteran-owned small business specializing in RF/microwave, SATCOM, airborne ISR communications hardware, and defense electronics . This position is ideal for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer, RF Design Engineer, RF Hardware Engineer, PCB Design Engineer, Hardware Design Engineer, or Electronics Engineer with hands-on experience designing and debugging complex electronic assemblies. What You'll Do Design and develop complex PCB layouts incorporating RF, analog, and digital circuits Create and maintain schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), test plans, and design documentation Use Altium Designer, Keysight ADS, or equivalent CAD-based design tools Apply EMI/EMC compliance requirements to electronic designs Design and document RF cable assemblies for EMI/EMC-compliant applications Test and validate PCB and RF electronics using test equipment Perform debugging, failure analysis, troubleshooting, and mitigation of electronic assemblies Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing engineers Use Microsoft 365 for documentation, reporting, and communication Support electronics design and development for airborne platforms, including UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) Contribute to or support waveguide design activities Required Qualifications 5+ years of electronics design experience Experience spanning PCB, RF, analog, and digital systems Proficiency with Keysight ADS, Altium Designer, or equivalent CAD/RF design tools Strong knowledge and application of EMI/EMC compliance Experience with RF cable design and testing methodologies Hands-on experience with debugging, test equipment, and troubleshooting complex electronic systems Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field U.S. citizenship required Ability to obtain a security clearance required Preferred Qualifications SATCOM experience Aerospace or airborne electronics experience Familiarity with waveguide components and design Why Consider This Opportunity?
