What you'll do: Use cellular and RF technologies to assess, design, and engineer secure wireless connectivity solutions in mission-critical federal environments. Conduct RF site surveys, measure and analyze signal strength and interference, and design solutions to improve in-building coverage, performance, and reliability. Participate in Agile execution while clearly communicating technical findings, recommendations, and solution impacts to technical teams and government stakeholders, building trust through consistent delivery and technical excellence. What you'll need to succeed: Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Possess DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role when this billet is cyber-coded, such as Security+ as a baseline with SSCP or CISSP for senior practitioners. If not cyber-coded, certification may be designated as not applicable. 7+ years of experience as an RF engineer with a primary focus on cellular and RF technologies. Demonstrated experience assessing, engineering, and optimizing wireless connectivity solutions, including 4G and 5G cellular technologies. Hands-on experience conducting RF and cellular site surveys, including signal strength measurements, propagation analysis, and coverage validation. Proven ability to design and implement in-building and campus wireless solutions to improve coverage, capacity, and reliability. Operational experience troubleshooting RF interference, signal degradation, and performance issues in complex environments. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for education requirements. Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
