Role:
We are seeking a Senior Staff Design Engineer - Analog/Mixed-Signal/RF to drive the design of advanced analog, mixed-signal, and/or RF circuits on state-of-the-art wireless and connectivity applications. In this role, you will take designs from concept through silicon validation, partnering closely with architecture, layout, and test teams to bring innovative wireless and connectivity solutions to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Design analog, mixed-signal, and/or RF circuits for state-of-the-art wireless and connectivity applications. Guide and review layout implementation in advanced technology nodes to achieve optimal performance, area, and reliability. Analyze, debug, and optimize circuit performance using simulations and lab measurements. Prepare and maintain design documentation, including specifications, design reports, and presentation materials for internal reviews. Define experimental test procedures and characterize/evaluate silicon in the lab; interpret results and drive design improvements. Support architecture investigations and technology explorations for future products and platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, systems, layout, test, and product engineering) to ensure successful tape-out and productization. Main Requirements and Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a focus on integrated circuit design. Strong analysis, design, and debug skills for analog, mixed-signal, or RF circuits. Previous tape-out experience is highly desirable. Solid understanding of linear systems and signal processing. Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with lab equipment for silicon evaluation and debug. Proficiency with computer-aided design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE, and MATLAB (or equivalent). Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global team environment. Salary range:
$154,400 - $220,000 annually. Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
