Job Description
East West Staffing, Inc. (EWS) is currently seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer. This position will involve hybrid hands-on work of the design and maintenance of DAS and Small Cell networks for stadium and public works projects. Requirements of the RF Design Engineer Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in RF Design and maintenance IBWAVE certification required RCDD certification preferred Experience with IBWAVE, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio Carrier testing and closeout package requirements Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point Analytical Thinking Conflict Management and Resolution Skills Results focused Communication and relationship building skills Excellent Customer Service skills Benefits of the RF Design Engineer 401k with company match Medical / Dental / Vision Paid time off Flexible Schedule Responsibilities of the RF Design Engineer Responsible for wireless system design, testing and integration Will work with Sales and Engineering Management to develop commercial and public safety designs that meet client requirements Develop bill of materials, work scopes and proposals that correspond to customer requests Assist in the cost estimation for project engineering and install Design new, and upgrade existing Wireless and DAS networks Provide guidance and training to the Sales and Operations teams Work with internal department managers as needed to meet company objectives Work with Deployment and Construction counterparts to hit project timelines and goals Assist Manager of Engineering in development of training programs Train Associate Engineers as needed to educate them on industry standards, applications, technologies and processes Perform radio engineering evaluation for system planning and site acquisition Create and use RF propagation and planning tools (IBWAVE is primary) Evaluate coverage problems and new service area requirements for coverage cells At times, identify causes of RF interference and troubleshooting interference problems
