Job Description:

Hiring for RF Engineer in Plano, TX(Must be Onsite) Experience & Education Minimum of 10+ years of experience in telecom/RAN engineering with a BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent practical experience Recent hands-on experience in radio network design, implementation, and/or tuning & optimization Leadership Experience Proven leadership across at least 5 projects Minimum 2 large-scale projects (major metro or statewide) where the candidate: Led all technical activities Managed technical teams and project execution Demonstrated strong communication with stakeholders (team, PM, customer) Technical Expertise Experience across multiple technologies: 5G NR, Massive MIMO, mmWave, LAA, 4G LTE, IoT, CBRS, multi-vendor environments Strong understanding of: Layer 3 messaging (4G & 5G) Event analysis (accessibility, retainability, HO success rate) Network Design & Planning Extensive experience with planning tools: Planet EV, Atoll Expertise in: Link budget analysis New project setup in planning tools Tilt/azimuth optimization Site planning and new site proposals Experience with: ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) Monte Carlo analysis Ability to: Perform model tuning Recommend improvements to network design (cell plan) Optimization & Tuning Strong experience with optimization tools: TEMS Investigation, Actix, Agilent, R&S Ability to: Analyze drive test data and KPIs Resolve complex network issues Recommend parameter changes and feature activations Experience with: Loaded network tuning (real vs artificial traffic) IRAT procedures and their impact 5G optimization and carrier addition impact RAN feature testing and traffic-based optimization Systems & KPI Knowledge Deep understanding of: Ericsson ENM tools Network KPIs and performance improvement strategies Uplink tuning techniques LTE/5G optimization methodologies Relationship between handovers and network capacity Additional Skills Proficient in MS Office Suite Willingness to travel extensively within the US Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to: Work independently while managing expectations Coordinate across multiple teams and departments Understand customer requirements and develop actionable plans Identify opportunities for add-on sales and improvements We are Connectors.
