Function 1) as a subject matter expert and lead process design engineer for natural gas processing specifically amine unit and sulfur recovery and 2) supervisor managing the development and performance of more than 10 junior engineers. Perform in a leadership role in projects for natural gas, hydrogen, gasification, sulfur recovery, gas treatment, and natural gas liquids recovery and fractionation. Lead implementation of amine unit and sulfur recovery solutions through the project life cycle: feasibility, front-end loading ( FEL ) stages, front-end engineering and design ( FEED ), detailed design, engineering procurement and construction ( EPC ) project delivery, commissioning and operational tasks. Develop and apply advanced engineering techniques, concepts, and approaches to complex engineering problems. Provide guidance and direction on department design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and Black & Veatch policies. Prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables for larger or multiple projects. Develop recommendations for equipment and materials selection. Oversee collection, assimilation, and management of data for engineering work. Evaluate facility data to develop operational improvement recommendations. Manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements for the process design team. Lead larger production teams and serve as a mentor to junior engineers.
