This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK and will report to the Manager - Reservoir Engineering. This position assesses oil and gas deposits, estimates the size of a reservoir, and determines how much oil and gas reserves are in the reservoir. The Reservoir Engineer runs models and performs calculations as well as assists in business and development planning to add value to the company. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Assists the asset teams in efficient and timely development of inventory Conducts technical evaluations to identify improvement opportunities Completes quarterly reserves evaluation for the asset in accordance with defined SPEE and SEC requirements Performs and leads asset evaluations for A&D opportunities Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum Requirements:
Proficient in all areas of Reservoir Engineering with foundational knowledge of operations, marketing, land, and geology Experience with unconventional/resource play economics, production type curve analysis, PVT behavior, rate-transient analysis, and analytical modeling Knowledge of SEC and SPEE reserve reporting guidelines and their application Strong working knowledge of industry economic software-preferably ARIES Experience with Harmony and/or Whitson software suitesPreferred:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines Ability to proficiently utilize technical and administrative personnel resources Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision Outstanding verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite Education & Work Experience Required Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline 5+ years related work experience, 3+ years reservoir engineering experience preferredPreferred:
