Job Description
- Outstanding opportunity for a mechanical engineer with Gas Turbine experience interested in joining the Legacy Engines, APU & Adv Tech Turbine group.
- The scope of the work will include performing, and providing technical expertise on cooled and uncooled turbine components design and analysis, support turbine hardware fabrication, support engine testing, data reduction and validation of analysis models.
- You work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- + Participate in cooled and uncooled turbine mechanical design efforts and be technically responsible for projects.
YOU MUST HAVE
- + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. +
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in gas turbine engineering and turbine component design and analysis.
WE VALUE
- + Extensive knowledge of the gas turbine engine industry. +
- Proficient in using FEA tools such as ANSYS (Structural).
- + •Experienced in using
NX, APDL, GOM, MATLAB, DARWIN.
- + Strong teamwork skills, able to work in variety of team roles within cross-functional team. + Experience in working with global teams across time zones. + Must be dedicated to customer satisfaction and demonstrated the capability to establish and maintain strong business and personal relationships with customers and co-workers. + Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
