Position Description:

Responsible for day-to-day gas well operations, maintenance of natural gas wells and ensures compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role requires basic job understanding. Works under close supervision on tasks that are routine or well-defined. Communicates information that typically requires minimal explanation or interpretation. Monitor gas production and ensure wells are producing natural gas as expected. Measure gas flow rates, pressures, and temperatures. Maintain and repair equipment such as pumps, plungers, compressors, and generators. Perform regular safety inspections to ensure all safety protocols and standards are being followed. Identify and promptly address safety hazards. Maintain detailed record of gas production, equipment maintenance, and safety inspections. Collaborate with other team members to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

Requirements :

Thee plus years of Lease Operator experience in Oil and Gas Basic understanding of the equipment and machinery used in the production of natural gas. Capability to troubleshoot and repair industry components such as level controllers, displacement valves, switches, controls, pumps, vessels, and flare systems. High school diploma or GED required.
