2992010394-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Plains is seeking a Senior Corrosion Specialist to lead corrosion control across our North American midstream pipeline and terminal network. In this role, you will design and optimize cathodic protection systems, coatings, and inspection programs to safeguard critical crude oil and NGL assets. You will analyze integrity data, investigate anomalies, and drive mitigation plans that uphold our safety-first, performance-driven culture. Partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Integrity teams, you will ensure regulatory compliance, support root-cause investigations, and mentor junior staff while contributing to reliable, efficient energy transportation. Responsibilities Lead corrosion control programs for pipelines, tanks, and terminals across Plains' midstream assets Develop and optimize cathodic protection, coatings, and inspection strategies Interpret inspection, integrity, and monitoring data to identify corrosion threats Recommend mitigation plans and oversee execution of remediation projects Ensure compliance with applicable integrity management and corrosion-related regulations and standards Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Integrity teams on risk assessments and repair priorities Support failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective actions Prepare technical reports, procedures, and documentation for audits and regulators Mentor junior engineers/specialists and share best practices across the organization Contribute to safety-first culture and continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills Corrosion engineering Cathodic protection design and monitoring Pipeline integrity management
