Job Description:
Overview A leading energy company is seeking Petroleum Engineers to join a technical optimization and engineering team supporting a variety of upstream oil and gas projects. This team works across Production Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Pipeline Systems, and Compression projects, helping solve complex operational challenges throughout the asset lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for both early-career and experienced engineers. The team values strong technical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn over specific industry experience. Engineers regularly move between projects and are expected to quickly learn new business and technical domains. Responsibilities Support engineering projects involving production operations, facilities, pipelines, and compression systems Analyze operational and engineering data to identify opportunities for improvement Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical and business challenges Learn new systems, assets, and engineering disciplines as project needs evolve Support optimization efforts focused on improving performance, reliability, and efficiency Participate in technical studies, evaluations, and project execution activities Communicate findings and recommendations to engineering and business stakeholders Assist with reporting, documentation, and engineering analysis Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering required 0-5 years of industry experience Recent graduates are encouraged to apply Internship, co-op, research, or industry experience is a plus but not required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technical environments Interest in production operations, facilities, pipelines, compression, or optimization work Preferred Backgrounds Petroleum Engineering internships Undergraduate or graduate research projects Production Engineering exposure Facilities Engineering exposure Pipeline or Compression experience Operations Engineering experience Oil & Gas field experience Strong Excel and data analysis skills What We're Looking For We are looking for smart, motivated engineers who enjoy learning and solving difficult problems.
